Pastor Rick Warren Interviews Presidential Candidates
Saturday, Aug. 16, in Joint Appearance

Dr. Rick Warren, pastor of Saddleback Church and author of The Purpose
Driven Life, will interview presumptive presidential candidates Sens.
John McCain and Barack Obama in a civil forum held at the church's Lake
Forest, Calif., campus, Saturday, Aug. 16, from 5 to 7 p.m. (PST).

According to Saddleback Church's Web site, the two-hour event, which is
the candidates' first joint appearance, will be held in a non-debate
format. Warren will ask all questions and each candidate will converse
separately with Warren for approximately one hour, beginning with Sen.
Obama, as determined by a coin toss. This is the last public appearance
for either candidate prior to the two-week hiatus during each party's
national convention.

The interview will air on various cable television networks around the
country. Check your local cable listings or visit
http://www.tvguide.com/Listings/default.aspx to find the specific
network carrying the interview in your location.
